A Day at the Hospital

So on the 13th we took Madelyn to Madison Memorial Hospital to have her tubes replaced and her adenoids out. I know it was a very routine procedure but I think I had more trauma than she did. To keep her entertained before surgery we pulled her around in some of the wagons at the hospital. She did well and the surgery was very successful. I have my baby girl back! She is actually sleeping now and is in a much better mood these days.

Grandma Wray's 76th Surprise Party

So everyone decided to get together for Grandma Wray's 76th Birthday. We threw her a surprise party at Grover and Sue's. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and to see how happy she was.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was wonderful. It was our first Christmas with Maddi at home and she was so excited. She woke up and said "Santa! Presents!" She couldn't wait to open them. She had a hard time staying focused on opening presents but it was fun to watch her. Well, the ditzy pregnant woman I am, took all the pictures on Christmas morning without a memory card in the camera. So I apologize that there are no pictures, but luckily there was some video for some memories. After a wonderful Christmas morning at our house, we headed over to Tyler's parents house to share some presents with them. Grandma Wray was there along with Grandma and Grandpa Jones. Then we had a big breakfast and just sat and had fun the rest of the day.

Maddi sat downstairs and watched her new Dora movie most of the day.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went over to Grover and Sue's house. We had a nice dinner, talked to Uncle Tanner in Mexico, and then opened some presents. Maddi was so excited to open presents. We all got either slippers or pajamas. Maddi got a Dora camera. She had to take everyone's picture with it. After presents we went in and started to play some games. Then we heard paper ripping. Yes, Maddi was in opening the rest of the presents under the tree. It was so cute!

Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Jones

This year we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Jones's for a Christmas Eve get together a few days before Christmas. It was really fun. Aunt Myrlann and Uncle Ray and their clan was there along with us. We had a great meal, opened presents, and then played some games. It was a perfect beginning to the Christmas week! Grandma and Grandpa gave Tyler a screwdriver set and a socket set. They gave me a picture of all the prophets in the Celestial Room of the Salt Lake Temple. It was beautiful. The Clement's gave us all an outfit. Grandma and Grandpa also gave Maddi a Noah's ark filled with stuffed animals and a Jungle Animal book. She loves them. Merry Christmas!
