Little Kody

So Kody has gotten into the habit of any time he sees anyone laying on the floor he will just go up to them and lay or sit on them.  This is fine and all to those of us who know and love him, but sometimes he does it to other children who are not in our family and it upsets them.  Oh well.  He is our sweet boy and he just wants to be close to people right?

Magic Fingers

So I have been working with Madelyn for a while on tying her shoes.  She has been pretty frustrated with the bunny ears and around the loop business.  So me, trying to be a better mother, looked for a different strategy.  I found the Magic Fingers Technique online and within 10 minutes Madelyn had her shoes tied and was tying everything in sight.  Look how great she is doing!  All by herself.  So proud of my little girl!

Family Time

One of the kid's favorite things to do is play in the backyard with dad.  Maddi loves to play baseball with dad.  Little did we know that she bats left hand.  Poor child batted all season of T-ball right handed.  oops!

Everybody needs a little Sparkle!

So we went to get Madelyn's hair cut today and we had them put in a rainbow sparkly.  So now tied into her hair is a little sparkle for our little diva!  

Stake Pioneer Day Celebration

So after Tyler got sworn in with the city we ran over to Cordon Park to the Stake Pioneer Day Celebration.  We ate and then went around to the booths.  We went and had a snow cone and then Brielle wanted to ride the train.  Madelyn did NOT want to ride.  But, being the mean mom I am, I made Madelyn ride with Brielle and she cried the WHOLE ride.    But on the brighter side Brielle thinks I'm the best mom ever!
